Michelle and Alex have been through quite a lot together and held strong on their wedding plans when the global pandemic hit. They wanted to focus their wedding on their favorite things- being outside in nature and their friends and family. They found a beautiful venue tucked away in the Catskill Mountains called Handsome Hollow. Their ceremony was among 50 of their closest friends and family in a fern filled forest. They wrote the sweetest vows to each other that had everyone tears. The rustic barn and outdoor property held their reception and created a relaxed environment for guests to play Jenga, hangout in the yard underneath twinkle lights and take some fun photos in a vintage 1970’s camper turned photobooth. Their 10 year old rescue dog, Lady spent the morning getting ready with Michelle and was a big part of Michelle and Alex’s day. They included lush florals, accents of rose quartz and vintage colored glasses for the tablescapes which paired beautifully with the barn and bistro lights. Their wedding cake was handmade by one of Michelle’s closest friends and she brought together a great team of vendors to execute the rest! Michelle and Alex hold a special place in my heart and their day will alway be a favorite of mine- check it out below!
