It’s not often that I get to photograph a friend of mine’s wedding, but when it does happen it’s always so much fun and so special. I met Kelly many years ago when I got my first ever job at Target (shoutout to the T-1318 girls). Before my photography days, like most of us, I worked retail and became friends with a group of girls that included Kelly. Many years later, and after Kelly had moved to Las Vegas to pursue teaching, she met Jonah. The funniest part was that Jonah was from a town in NY just a few hours from where Kelly grew up but they met in Las Vegas.
After having to reschedule their wedding because of COVID, Kelly & Jonah had to switch venues and switched to Loft 433 which is a new industrial venue in Downtown Troy. It made for the perfect location for their wedding day and included stunning views and a beautiful sunset. Having travelled back to NY where they’re both from, they were able to reconnect with friends and family and definitely partied the night away to celebrate their day. I am so grateful that you picked me Kelly, and I’m so happy for you and Jonah!! Check out their day below!
