Mount Tremper Arts- Catskill New York Wedding – Svetlana + Allan

July 17, 2019

Wedding

I knew when Svet and Allan reached out to me, that they were going to have a great wedding tucked away up in the Catskills at Mount Tremper Arts. They included a mixture of both of their families cultural and religious aspects throughout their day which included Ukrainian and Russian wedding traditions.  They had a Kroval (wedding bread), nesting dolls, vinok (peace wreath), a rushnyk (embroidered cloth) which was placed on a wooden chuppah that was made by their friends and family and adorned with florals that the bride selected, Russian pickles, and a laser cut Ketubah that was made by a friend of the couple. I loved seeing how everything came together and experiencing the mixture of these families. Mount Tremper Arts  made for the perfect venue and even when it started to downpour at the end of the night, music by The Silver Arrow Band kept the party going!
