Meghan and Ned had a soft-spring floral-inspired wedding at Red Maple Vineyard, making for the perfect backdrop for their vision. As a fashion designer, Meghan perfectly curated a palette of soft greens and pinks with neutrals and a touch of blue with Ned’s unique suit. The wardrobe for Meghan and Ned and their wedding party was as top-notch as I imagined it would be. Meghan described their wedding theme as “whimsy romance with some modern touches,” She perfectly executed it alongside the brilliant floral team of Three Notch Florals.

The weather called for rain on the morning of their wedding. Meghan and Ned held firm to their vision and skipped the rain plan for a perfect outdoor ceremony with views of the Hudson River and the classic Hudson Valley Region. The views at Red Maple Vineyard’s upper hill are some of Ulster County’s best, and it didn’t rain during the ceremony!

They also included many personal aspects of their day. Meghan’s dress was designed by one of her best friends and bridesmaids, so we had a reveal with Meghan’s wedding party and the Moms, one of my favorite moments of the day. Before the ceremony, the immediate family and wedding party gathered to honor Meghan’s grandfather with a short speech, and everyone took a shot, which was a family tradition. There were meaningful speeches from parents and siblings during the reception, and everyone danced the night away. Meghan and a few of her friends also surprised everyone and did an Irish step routine! These two created a beautiful wedding for their friends and family, and they had such a fun group that sang and danced with them all night long!
